Position Summary
Odunela Group is recruiting a Client Operations Apprentice to learn and support customer enquiries, onboarding administration, request logging, complaints records and service operations. This role is suitable for a polite, organised and responsible secondary-school leaver who wishes to develop a career in customer operations, administration or business services.
What you will learn
The apprentice will learn how to:
- receive and record customer enquiries;
- support onboarding;
- communicate using approved templates;
- maintain request and complaint records;
- organise appointments and service documents;
- protect customer information;
- identify matters requiring escalation;
- support service testing and operational rehearsals;
- provide professional administrative service.
Principal Responsibilities
Under supervision, the apprentice will:
- receive and record customer requests;
- check whether onboarding documents are complete;
- schedule approved appointments or follow-up actions;
- prepare approved customer messages;
- update service-request records;
- maintain complaint and escalation logs;
- organise customer and pilot files;
- support service-readiness exercises;
- record recurring customer questions;
- identify unauthorised promises or misleading statements;
- escalate difficult or sensitive matters;
- maintain confidentiality;
- support customer-service reports.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate:
- WAEC, NECO or equivalent qualification;
- clear spoken and written English;
- polite and professional communication;
- good organisation;
- patience and customer-service awareness;
- basic computer or smartphone competence;
- confidentiality;
- problem-solving attitude;
- ability to follow scripts and escalation procedures.
Desirable Attributes
- school, retail, hospitality, church or community customer-service experience;
- interest in business administration, communications or customer experience;
- experience organising appointments or enquiries;
- additional Nigerian-language ability.

- Confirmation clearly stated in the CV that the applicant:
- is at least 18 years old;
- can work onsite in Lagos;
- is willing to undertake full-time work and structured learning;
- is willing to complete aptitude tests and a practical assessment.
Selection Process
The existing Odunela ERP Recruitment ATS will be used.
The process will include:
- Application and secondary-school qualification check.
- Literacy, numeracy and basic digital aptitude assessment.
- Role-specific practical work sample.
- Structured interview.
- Identity and reference verification.
- Confidentiality and acceptable-use agreement.
- Conditional apprenticeship offer.
The approved assessment weighting is:
