Registered Land Surveyor

Position purpose

Odunela Group seeks a registered Land Surveyor to provide professional review and advice concerning survey plans, spatial evidence, boundary issues, geospatial records and land-surveying referral requirements.

Scope of services

The appointed surveyor will:

1. review survey-evidence procedures;
2. review survey plans and spatial records;
3. identify inconsistencies requiring professional inquiry;
4. advise on boundary and geospatial issues;
5. define referral thresholds;
6. support controlled pilot files;
7. advise on field-verification requirements;
8. review survey-related customer statements;
9. train associates on survey-document handling;
10. issue professional reports where instructed.

Required qualifications and experience

Individual applicant

The applicant must demonstrate:

1. recognised surveying qualification;
2. current professional registration and practising status;
3. relevant Nigerian land-surveying experience;
4. experience reviewing survey plans and boundary evidence;
5. professional-indemnity insurance where applicable;
6. strong written-reporting capability.

Organisation applicant

The organisation must demonstrate:

1. legal registration;
2. authorised surveying-practice status;
3. designated lead registered surveyor;
4. appropriate technical personnel;
5. relevant equipment and technical capacity;
6. insurance;
7. quality and conflict controls;
8. evidence of comparable assignments.

Deliverables

1. survey-plan review reports;
2. spatial-evidence procedures;
3. referral criteria;
4. pilot-file findings;
5. field-verification recommendations;
6. professional survey reports;
7. training materials.

11. A Cover Letter containing the Statement of Suitability, methodology, availability and proposed fees.

Organisation applicant must submit

1. A corporate profile.
2. CVs of the lead registered surveyor and key technical personnel.

8. equipment and technical-capability statement;
9. two comparable assignments;
10. two client references;
11. quality-control statement;
12. conflict declaration.
