Position purpose
Odunela Group seeks a registered Land Surveyor to provide professional review and advice concerning survey plans, spatial evidence, boundary issues, geospatial records and land-surveying referral requirements.
Scope of services
The appointed surveyor will:
- review survey-evidence procedures;
- review survey plans and spatial records;
- identify inconsistencies requiring professional inquiry;
- advise on boundary and geospatial issues;
- define referral thresholds;
- support controlled pilot files;
- advise on field-verification requirements;
- review survey-related customer statements;
- train associates on survey-document handling;
- issue professional reports where instructed.
Required qualifications and experience
Individual applicant
The applicant must demonstrate:
- recognised surveying qualification;
- current professional registration and practising status;
- relevant Nigerian land-surveying experience;
- experience reviewing survey plans and boundary evidence;
- professional-indemnity insurance where applicable;
- strong written-reporting capability.
Organisation applicant
The organisation must demonstrate:
- legal registration;
- authorised surveying-practice status;
- designated lead registered surveyor;
- appropriate technical personnel;
- relevant equipment and technical capacity;
- insurance;
- quality and conflict controls;
- evidence of comparable assignments.
