Position purpose
Odunela Group seeks a registered Estate Surveyor and Valuer to provide professional review, technical advice and controlled support relating to valuation, property characteristics, estate-management evidence and professional property-intelligence limitations.
Scope of services
The appointed professional will:
- review valuation-related procedures;
- advise on property inspection and valuation evidence;
- review valuation referral thresholds;
- provide professional valuation services where instructed;
- review pilot files;
- advise on limitations and qualifications;
- review customer-facing property and valuation statements;
- train associates on professional boundaries;
- document findings and professional opinions;
- advise on conflicts and independence;
- support quality review.
Required qualifications and experience
Individual applicant
The applicant must demonstrate:
- appropriate professional qualification;
- current registration with relevant Nigerian professional and regulatory bodies;
- current right to practise;
- valuation and estate-management experience;
- written-reporting competence;
- professional-indemnity insurance where applicable;
- no unmanaged conflict.
Organisation applicant
The organisation must demonstrate:
- legal registration;
- status as an authorised estate-surveying and valuation practice;
- designated lead registered professional;
- suitably qualified supporting team;
- professional-indemnity insurance;
- relevant valuation experience;
- quality-control procedures;
- conflict-management arrangements.
