Position Summary

Odunela Group is recruiting a Graduate Risk, Compliance and Quality Associate to support the controlled implementation and launch projects.

The successful candidate will maintain risk, compliance, control, quality, exception and corrective-action records and support the testing of operational controls. The role is for a recent (2026) graduate who has a very strong attention to detail and proven integrity.

Principal Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  1. maintain risk registers;
  2. maintain legal and regulatory obligation records;
  3. support development of the control library;
  4. map obligations and risks to controls;
  5. prepare quality-control procedures;
  6. perform supervised first-line control testing;
  7. maintain exception and corrective-action records;
  8. track professional and assurance findings;
  9. monitor overdue remediation;
  10. support launch-readiness testing;
  11. identify recurring control failures;
  12. prepare risk, compliance and quality reports;
  13. escalate material exceptions.
Essential Requirements

Applicants should possess a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in:

  1. law;
  2. accounting;
  3. risk management;
  4. finance;
  5. economics;
  6. business administration;
  7. compliance;
  8. quality management;
  9. public administration.

Applicants must demonstrate:

  1. analytical reasoning;
  2. numerical competence;
  3. accurate record keeping;
  4. professional scepticism;
  5. clear report writing;
  6. ability to identify causes, consequences and controls;
  7. integrity and sound judgement.
Desirable Attributes
  1. risk, audit or compliance internship;
  2. internal-control study;
  3. legal or regulatory research;
  4. quality-management exposure;
  5. accounting or assurance experience;
  6. data analysis.
Selection Process

The recruitment process will include:

  1. Application and eligibility screening.
  2. A role-specific practical assessment completed during Screening.
  3. Round One technical and competency interview.
  4. Final Round institutional-suitability interview.
  5. Identity, qualification, reference and role-appropriate verification.
  6. Management clearance and conditional offer.

The practical assessment does not constitute a separate interview round.
