Position Summary

Odunela Group is recruiting a Graduate ERP, Data and Systems Associate to support the digital implementation of projects. The successful candidate will translate approved operational requirements into structured data, registers, fields, workflows, test cases and controlled system requirements.


The role is suitable for a technically capable recent (2026) graduate who can combine logical reasoning with careful documentation.

Principal Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  1. prepare data dictionaries;
  2. define register fields and validation requirements;
  3. document system and workflow requirements;
  4. support controlled ERP configuration;
  5. prepare synthetic test data;
  6. support controlled data entry and migration;
  7. prepare user-acceptance test scripts;
  8. carry out supervised testing;
  9. record, classify and track defects;
  10. support dashboard and reporting requirements;
  11. maintain system-requirement traceability;
  12. prepare user guides and implementation documentation;
  13. supervise a Data and Systems Apprentice when authorised;
  14. coordinate work with the ERP Platform and Applications Engineer.
Essential Requirements

Applicants should possess a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in:

  1. computer science;
  2. information systems;
  3. software engineering;
  4. data science;
  5. computer engineering;
  6. business information technology;
  7. a related technical discipline.

Applicants must demonstrate:

  1. logical data reasoning;
  2. spreadsheet competence;
  3. understanding of database concepts;
  4. ability to document requirements;
  5. testing discipline;
  6. basic information-security awareness;
  7. ability to explain technical issues clearly.
Desirable Attributes
  1. ERPNext or Frappe;
  2. Python;
  3. SQL;
  4. workflow configuration;
  5. software testing;
  6. data analysis;
  7. Git or version control;
  8. API awareness.
Selection Process

The recruitment process will include:

  1. Application and eligibility screening.
  2. A role-specific practical assessment completed during Screening.
  3. Round One technical and competency interview.
  4. Final Round institutional-suitability interview.
  5. Identity, qualification, reference and role-appropriate verification.
  6. Management clearance and conditional offer.

The practical assessment does not constitute a separate interview round.
