Position Summary

Odunela Group is recruiting a Graduate Governance and Programme Controls Associate to support the implementation of projects. The successful candidate will organise governance documents, implementation requirements, decisions, actions and evidence so that the projects' development remains controlled, traceable and properly documented. This position is suitable for a recent (2026) graduate who is highly organised, intellectually disciplined and able to work carefully with complex documents.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  1. administer Governance Libraries;
  2. maintain document metadata, references and version control;
  3. support the Master Governance Instrument Register;
  4. maintain action, decision and reasoning registers;
  5. support governance-to-implementation traceability;
  6. prepare meeting agendas, packs, minutes and action records;
  7. track approvals, dependencies and implementation milestones;
  8. organise implementation evidence;
  9. identify missing, conflicting or superseded documents;
  10. support controlled change management;
  11. prepare governance and programme-control reports;
  12. supervise a Governance and Records Apprentice when authorised.
Essential Requirements

Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in:

  1. law;
  2. governance;
  3. public administration;
  4. business administration;
  5. political science;
  6. records or information management;
  7. project management;
  8. a closely related discipline.

Applicants must demonstrate:

  1. excellent written English;
  2. strong attention to detail;
  3. careful document handling;
  4. logical and structured reasoning;
  5. spreadsheet and document-management competence;
  6. integrity and confidentiality;
  7. ability to identify inconsistencies and incomplete records.

Selection Process

The recruitment process will include:

  1. Application and eligibility screening.
  2. A role-specific practical assessment completed during Screening.
  3. Round One technical and competency interview.
  4. Final Round institutional-suitability interview.
  5. Identity, qualification, reference and role-appropriate verification.
  6. Management clearance and conditional offer.
