Position Summary

An Odunela Group company is recruiting a practical Programme Implementation Manager to lead the conversion of its approved governance, operational and digital requirements into a functioning organisation.


This is not a reporting-only project-management position. The successful candidate must be able to build implementation structures, coordinate people, establish processes, organise systems and evidence, manage risks and prepare the organisation for a controlled launch.

The Programme Implementation Manager will report directly to the CEO and will supervise a founding cohort of graduate implementation associates and workplace apprentices.

Principal Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  1. Establish and manage the Programme Implementation Office;
  2. convert approved requirements into workstreams, deliverables and schedules;
  3. allocate responsibility for implementation activities;
  4. coordinate graduate associates and apprentices;
  5. establish implementation registers, controls and evidence;
  6. coordinate data, workflow and ERP requirements;
  7. manage implementation risks, dependencies and changes;
  8. coordinate privacy, cybersecurity and professional reviews;
  9. support controlled testing and pilot activities;
  10. prepare weekly consolidated reports for the CEO;
  11. identify matters requiring executive decisions;
  12. prepare the launch-readiness recommendation;
  13. ensure that unsafe, incomplete or unauthorised activities are not presented as complete.
Essential Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate:

  1. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical professional experience;
  2. at least three years of relevant implementation experience;
  3. evidence of personally building or implementing operational systems, processes or programmes;
  4. experience coordinating multidisciplinary work;
  5. experience preparing controlled plans, procedures, registers or management reports;
  6. experience supervising junior personnel;
  7. strong written and spoken English;
  8. strong practical digital capability;
  9. sound judgement and attention to detail.
Desirable Experience

Experience in one or more of the following will be advantageous:

  1. ERPNext;
  2. digital-platform implementation;
  3. startup or greenfield operations;
  4. information governance;
  5. privacy;
  6. cybersecurity coordination;
  7. risk and compliance;
  8. evidence-sensitive or regulated services;
  9. graduate or apprentice development;
  10. user-acceptance testing;
  11. launch-readiness assurance.

Selection Process

The recruitment process will include:

  1. Application and eligibility screening.
  2. A role-specific practical assessment completed during Screening.
  3. Round One technical and competency interview.
  4. Final Round institutional-suitability interview.
  5. Identity, qualification, reference and role-appropriate verification.
  6. Management clearance and conditional offer.

The practical assessment does not constitute a separate interview round.
