Position Summary
The organisation is seeking an experienced ICT Teacher to deliver structured, office‑based computer training over a three‑month contract period. The role requires strong practical competence in computer operations, Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office applications. Candidates must demonstrate a proven history of successfully training individuals or groups, with measurable learner outcomes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor‑led ICT training covering computer fundamentals, Windows OS navigation, file management, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Develop lesson plans, training materials, and practical exercises aligned with programme objectives.
- Facilitate hands‑on learning sessions and provide real‑time guidance to support learner development.
- Monitor learner progress, conduct assessments, and document performance outcomes.
- Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, assessments, and learner feedback.
- Provide additional support to learners requiring targeted assistance.
- Ensure the training environment remains organised, functional, and conducive to learning.
- Uphold professional standards, punctuality, and effective communication throughout the contract period.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer operations, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven experience delivering ICT training with a verifiable record of learner success.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to beginners and mixed‑ability groups.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of a diploma or relevant certification in ICT, Education, or a related field.
- Prior experience in an office‑based teaching or training environment is an advantage.
