Position Summary

The organisation is seeking an experienced ICT Teacher to deliver structured, office‑based computer training over a three‑month contract period. The role requires strong practical competence in computer operations, Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office applications. Candidates must demonstrate a proven history of successfully training individuals or groups, with measurable learner outcomes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Deliver instructor‑led ICT training covering computer fundamentals, Windows OS navigation, file management, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  2. Develop lesson plans, training materials, and practical exercises aligned with programme objectives.
  3. Facilitate hands‑on learning sessions and provide real‑time guidance to support learner development.
  4. Monitor learner progress, conduct assessments, and document performance outcomes.
  5. Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, assessments, and learner feedback.
  6. Provide additional support to learners requiring targeted assistance.
  7. Ensure the training environment remains organised, functional, and conducive to learning.
  8. Uphold professional standards, punctuality, and effective communication throughout the contract period.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  1. Demonstrated proficiency in computer operations, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office applications.
  2. Proven experience delivering ICT training with a verifiable record of learner success.
  3. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to beginners and mixed‑ability groups.
  4. Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Minimum of a diploma or relevant certification in ICT, Education, or a related field.
  6. Prior experience in an office‑based teaching or training environment is an advantage.
