Healthcare Education Facilitator

Role Purpose
This role is designed for individuals with teaching experience—whether in primary schools, junior high schools, senior high schools, or adult education—who want to transition into healthcare training and community health development. Facilitators will deliver foundational health and social care education to aspiring carers, support learners through practical skills development, and progress through a structured programme leading to UK‑recognised Health & Social Care training certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons on basic health, hygiene, safeguarding, and community care principles.
- Teach foundational health and social care concepts using learner‑friendly methods suitable for mixed‑ability groups.
- Support trainees in developing practical caregiving skills aligned with UK care standards.
- Assess learner progress through quizzes, assignments, and practical demonstrations.
- Provide pastoral support, guidance, and motivation to trainees throughout their learning journey.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and learner development.
- Collaborate with training coordinators to ensure curriculum delivery meets UK‑aligned frameworks.
- Participate in continuous professional development, including UK‑standard training modules.
- Contribute to community outreach and awareness programmes promoting health education.
- Uphold safeguarding, equality, and ethical standards in all teaching activities.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Community Development, or related fields.
- Prior teaching experience (primary, JHS, SHS, or adult education) is essential.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex topics and teach learners with diverse backgrounds.
- Interest in health, caregiving, or community development.
- Willingness to undergo structured UK‑aligned Health & Social Care training.
- Strong ethical conduct and commitment to learner success.
- Basic digital literacy for lesson preparation and reporting.
